Bernard Cooke
- Insightful
- Provocative
- Humour
Bernard is a Chartered Business Psychologist and accredited executive coach – and often works as a supervisor to other coaches. He has a dry, self-deprecating sense of humour and a unique way of challenging that provokes insight rather than defensiveness. His special interests include resilience and red wine.
Bernard has over 15 years’ experience of management and organisational development. He is an acknowledged expert in psychometrics, and has worked as both an internal and external consultant. Before he became a Chartered Business Psychologist, he held a number of HR development roles within multinational companies in the manufacturing and service sectors.
The depth and breadth of his experience have given him an enviable understanding of the context for change and the pressures that it puts on those involved. He has in-depth knowledge of all facets of organisational change, from the design of systems and processes necessary for the re-engineering of an organisation, through to the delivery of cultural change programmes and the individual coaching of those responsible for leading change.
By combining his expertise in psychology and psychometrics with his extensive organisational experience, Bernard provides supportive but challenging facilitation, for teams or individuals facing the challenge of change. His many clients include Alstom, BT, Deloitte, Dun & Bradstreet, G4S, HSBC, McGraw-Hill, NHS, RBS, SABIC and Volvo.
